Was so proud of the lads last night, fully deserved the win... and was just like old times with our vocal support :)

Still haven't stopped smiling since last night! :D :D :D

Not sure what to say that hasn't already been said; the only down side was that I was in the main stand making notes for the match report, I'd have loved to have been behind the goal singing my head off!

Yes Dave, I decided to decamp there in the second half because I guessed that's where the action would be and Jim, Phil, Tom, Sam and John needed my vocal support. I also had a close up view from behind the other goal when James scored that important second goal just on half time. ;)

I am still on cloud 9! What an evening and so good to be able to watch a whole game for once.
Pity we couldn't sell raffle tickets! Would have made a nice profit. Never mind there will still be plenty of chances to sell them in the future ;) Well done to Starms and the lads. You really are a credit to youth football. To all of the committee and the many volunteers - whilst you are still prepared to give up your free time then this club will have a very promising future. Long live AFC R&D.
PS. I have just had a phone conversation with Dale's Mum Isobel and she and his Dad George send all their love to everyone at AFC R&D and also their many congratulations on such a wonderful achievement.

First chance I've had to post, as I didn't get back until after midnight, stopped for a couple of beers after the match 8-)

Well what can you say?

One of the best night's I've had at a football match, brilliant atmosphere (just like the old days) Well done to the fans for that.

A massive well done, must go to everyone that has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we have our club back.

Onwards and upwards people, onwards and upwards

"We will never die, we will never die"......................nearly brought a tear to my eye hearing that ring through the terrace.

There was one very proud Chairman at the end of the game, well done Ralph, you have helped people get their pride back.
and finally, well done to the lads, who have taken to playing in front of a crowd like ducks to water 8-)

You must have been near us then, we stood there for the first half, great view of both goals, until the rain came down, moved into the main stand and then saw the second half from the terrace.

I needed the boy's room, Dave, and to beat the rush I stopped there for the last couple of minutes and I think I was the only person there. It was a lovely move and initially thought James might have been off side as he coolly slotted the ball home from around the penalty spot. Thankfully the Lino thought otherwise. I celebrated by treating myself to a half-time pint. ;)

Just want to reiterate what everyone else has said really, a fantastic game with a great atmosphere. The last two games I've been too I've really started to get into supporting the club, its great to have that feeling again that you honestly can say that you support and love a football club.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

Because disputing attendance figures will cause us heaps of problems...

Oh and if the attendance was only being recorded by someone at a table next to an open gate then I think it's probably fair to question the figure!
