Biggles wrote:George Rolls, Colin Hill (and no doubt Brother Benny) Sadact and KC what a dream team, for us that is, but a real Nightmare for the ploppies and its far better than them dying it means we can get this thread to at least 200 pages with plenty of laughs on the way.
The plot gets thicker !.....And more hilarious

Jeez, Rolls and Hill to join forces with Ladick. It couldn't get worse for them could it?
I'd love to be a fly on the wall at their board meetings as it will be better entertainment than any soap.
Happy days. :D

You just couldn't write this could you?

Bonnie Thompson + Clyde Cousins - absolutely desperate to keep football at NP to comply with the covenant - bring boss man Hill into play with puppet Rolls as front man and Ladak as special advisor! No doubt Gary Calder will soon be involved again before a late call up to the Beasant's to finally turn the lights out in 2015!

Well that should put to bed any doubters re Pitch 2!

absolutely, you cannot deal with these people, the thought of putting any money thier way is sickening, and how could you ever sign a piece of paper with thier names present on the paperwork also. You simply couldn't have any trust or faith in the process.

I told you all along they'd be "saved", no quick death for them, a long drawn out one, them going down the toilet has happened too soon for certain people hasn't it? Hilarious - I had to check the calendar to make sure I hadn't slept in and it was April 1st? ;) :D

Actually, on a more serious note, I think I can see what the game is now !!

The takeover announced - club saved and fans grateful ! Explanation by the new ownership team that the future of the club is at NP, and only NP. A ground solution in K*ttering is not an option - but more fans are needed to take the club forward, a plea goes out to follow the club, to help in all ways possible as volunteers etc, we're in this together, and more follow like lambs to the slaughter with promisies of football league in 5 years time.

Money will be invested, a bit, to keep the front up and keep the interest flowing......"they're saying all the right things and delivering" people will say, and more will come along. A name change is introduced to tempt back the very supporters that we need for AFC next season, those that haven't yet made a commitment to AFC, the claimed 5-600 of us to follow them that never materialised. A new manager is appointed, we all know who that will be, and K*ttering Diamonds FC is born (a bit of both clubs to appease both sets of fans) !! A bastardised club that I may learn to hate even more than MK Dongs !! It'll all come crumbling down of course, when the timing is right.

If I were a K*ttering fan I'd be very worried by this turn of events if true, it'll ultimately herald the death of their club as a new version of it will be created, I'm convinced of it. I feel sorry for them and others that will get sucked into this, but as things improve they'll go back to their gloating ways, but they'll end up like us in a few years, homeless and forming their own club - 2 to 3 years after they should.

Oh well, its their battle, I'll sit back and look on with interest to see if the future pans out as I think it will. We used to say its never dull being a Diamonds fan, the same can be said of the Plops eh? Interesting times ahead.........of course, it could all be rubbish ;)

I couldn't agree more with your last post Piggers, it's all becoming a lot clearer now and from day one when a certain person took over at Nene Park I always had my suspicions on what his intentions where for the club.
It's certainly been a journey following R&D at Nene Park, unfortunately the latter part for many of us is we have all been taken for a ride, for others at Nene Park the journey has only just began!

Surely it's now just all about the land and how best the new KTFC board can maximise a return, the people involved according to the nlp, as we know have no interest in a football club. If a profit can be made it doesn't matter what happens to a couple of football clubs along the way!
