I thought that we were excellent today, Probably the best we've played all season!

Believe it is December 8th.

Though I wouldn't necessarily trust them, as Bedlington lost 2-1, not won 2-1.

I'd agree with that, we could have been 5-1 up and half time and it would have been a fair score

Going forward definitely, I think if we had had Alfie Taylor up front we would have scored 6 or 7 (though not taking anything away from Newman or Morgan, they both had great games) though not at the back. We deserved to win but on another day where Basford had been a bit better in front of goal, it could have been closer, we looked particularly vulnerable when dealing with crosses. But, judging by the sorts of scorelines at this level, with teams regulary hitting 5+ goals, that our defence can be a bit leaky at times is obviously not uncommon at this sort of level.

Credit to MS for making the substitution when he did. We were under the cosh at 3-2 and bringing Gillingwater on really settled things down, not to mention the goal he scored which was unreal.

Great result and atmosphere. A great feeling and Eynesbury seems like a lifetime ago now.
Yeah definitely up there with the best attacking performance of the season. I think we need to work on defending though, lucky for us that we have scored more than we have conceded, otherwise we'd be in trouble!

Their number 9 (Martin Caruthers?) moaned all game!!

The De Banke were in great voice as well :D

I stood talking to Basford's chairman this afternoon and he was very complimentary about us, really nice people 8-)

Fantastic entertainment this afternoon. I felt we always had the edge but a couple of defensive gaffes gave them hope although we could have scored many more goals. Gilly's goal was worth the entrance fee on it's own. Tremendous support all through the match by the PDB and we didn't need the megaphone this week. Decent crowd of 558 and bearing in mind Corby Town only got 299 for their match against Oxford City it just shows the level of support we can command on a regular basis. Great to receive £1200 for winning this tie and I await Monday's draw with interest.

It would've been 5-1 if it hadn't been for Quincy. WTF was that first goal?!

Come on Guernsey away!! :D
