Also, like Westley and Hill, he's another Essex-based mate of the Chairman which I have an uncomfortable feeling is the main requirement for getting the job.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could just concentrate on getting the right man for the job, someone with the necessary experience and someone who - like Westley - wouldn't be afraid to argue with the chairman.
Wouldn't last long but - like Westley - he might win some games.

Yeah i remember being skeptical about JE being the right man for the job, as tbh, i didn't think he had done that he had done that great a job at Grays. What a shame i've been proved wrong :oops: :lol:
When some of us looked deeper into his managerial record, we saw some potential.
I think he possibly did something with Billericay, and got Fisher promoted to the BSS. He also kept Grays in the division on probably the same budget Julian Dicks is working with now.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

and yes we have come on a lot in just a few months, great effort from everyone associated with the club..Long may it continue, whatever league we are in next year!

I don't think any of us could have dared to dream just how far we have come in a short space of time! It really is a fantastic season!!!
