That's a strange take for me. We're 100% more organised when bully and collard are on at CB together. If Hughes was in there instead I think I'd be ok, but Bush isn't anywhere near the XI for me. Looks like a fish up a tree when playing up top and only marginally better as a CB for me.

As mentioned above, I'm hoping we'll see what Burge is about today. I'm hoping for a change of formation and at least one of the new lads to start up top. Peaks has the advantage today in terms of preparation, AB needs to suprise him

Normally I would say we threw away 3 points but in fact we were extremely lucky to get anything. Tamworth should have won by 3 goals. Anything less than 4 points from our next two games will tell if Andy B has what it takes.

Well, a disappointing result in the end. Started well enough, took the goals well, then took the foot off the gas and couldn't get it going again. Not a disaster as results went our way but didn't feel great. For me, Furlong went to the wrong side when he came on.
Another game closer to the end game, keep the faith.

Agree. Game closer to the end but hugely frustrating to surender a 2-0 lead to a very average Tamworth side☹ got to say Peaks wouldn't have let that slip. Is AB the man?? Not sure on what I've seen so far. Surely shud have said shut it out til halftime wen 2 up?? AJ not in game today at all & Nath has been struggling for last 3 , 4 games now. No damage as Alvechurch only drew but can't help think it's a missed opportunity 🤨🤔

I feel sorry for AB as he is in his first job as manager of a Men's Team at this level and its in a world of instant success, it takes a while to get up-to speed and he will need all the games until season ends to just get his feet under the table.

It never helped AB that our best striker was poached and the replacement chosen by his predecessor hadn't played upfront for yonks, he has managed to scramble round to find replacements but its not a lot of time to get the team gelling together.

I hope we will still make the playoffs but it is not a given, it helps the other teams in contention are not putting any pressure on at the moment.

SussexDiamond or shall I call u sussexlamb. You seem 2b a fox in the chickens pen. May I suggest https://footballclubforums.com/sl/tamworth-fc/ ? U might get some more support.
Not sure were your insistence that AB needs to keep proofing himself 2 u, but everyone else willing to give him a try. Maybe some encouragement for the team wouldn’t go amiss.
Also can tell you wouldn’t like the 70’s cause ur a bush hater.

The manner of the draw - which I think was our first since October - made it feel like a defeat. As with Tuesday night I don't think we did enough to deserve the win and a draw was about right. They certainly didn't deserve to win by 3 goals, as another poster has said. I assume they were watching a different game to me.

Nice to see us playing a different way for the first time in what feels like forever. I felt it aided us in an attacking sense albeit Nathan was much less effective out wide, but weakened us defensively. If anything, it might have been sensible to revert to the old system at HT to see the game out. Positives and negatives on that front but one things for sure, it was more entertaining!

A very well taken goal by Diakiesse to be fair to him but i'd like to see him effect the game more. I'm not sure how fit he is given I presume he wasn't playing regularly for K*ttering, but he's spent much of the last 2 games on the periphery. Bush on the other hand - who doesn't win enough in the air given his size and his 2nd touch is a slide tackle - runs himself in to the ground and is always in the thick of the action. I'm not saying we need 2 like that but Diakiesse could do a bit more of it. Interesting to hear the new lad Graham isn't fit enough even for the bench. It's getting a bit late in the day now for those kind of signings, is it not?

Given other results went our way today it's another game chalked off and no damage done to our position, so got to be pleased with that.
