They truly have missed the opportunity to have a decent turnout haven’t they? High price and charging for under 8s - they should be free! It’s half term week for gods sake, kids can be up late!
Adult £8, u16s and concessions £4, u8s free IMO would have got a few more out - £12 is too steep for any neutral that might have been tempted along; if we weren’t playing I wouldn’t go at that price.
An adult with 2 kids will have to fork out £24, that’s too much in the current climate, it should have been a fraction of that!
Fuel is an issue too, so anything to encourage people out should have been uppermost in their minds!
Let’s hope for a decent turnout anyway, three of us going in my car.
I expect to see some changes to the starting lineup - we’ve a lot of walking wounded and Saturday is more important in my view.

With this match and the remaining three league games ahead of us what an exciting finale to the season it's going to be. Really looking forward to the next few weeks and seeing what we can achieve. One last push now from players and fans alike and let’s see where we end up.
Considering Peterborough Sports’ form it’s certainly going to be a mighty tough game but they all are now really. Here’s hoping for an official attendance from the NFA this time around as well, although I won’t be holding my breath. Come on you Diamonds, our season starts now!

An opinion I have had for years now is that the Northants FA are money grabbers,
Lets be realistic, the Hillier cup matches before the final never get massive crowds - just like other local FA's competitions don't get massive crowds either, most of the bigger clubs don't take it seriously... this is something most people are aware of.
So why do we have the final at Sixfields? is it to let the players experience playing in a football league stadium? image being one of the players on the pitch... you look around and see a stadium that holds 7000 people with less than 1000 people in it, it's never going to be a cup final atmosphere.
Then look at the admission prices, it's basically Conference football prices, is the idea of that to pay for having it at Sixfields?
Maybe the idea of the high prices is so that people who do go are paying for people who don't go.
In my opinion the final should be played at Brackley Town's ground or Corby Town's ground - the capacity of these grounds is fine for clubs of our level.
I hold the same opinion about the FA Vase final being at Wembley too, a conference stadium is more than enough rather than playing at a pretty much empty Wembley.
When is common sense going to prevail? even if we won tonight I would still have the same opinion.
I'm surprised the Northants FA didn't try charging even more money and claiming that it was due to the pandemic or energy prices.
