I thought we did well today, with just a little luck we could have scored late on and had it gone to penalties, who knows, Dean has a save or two in him I reckon! But it wasn’t to be!
The lads can hold their heads up high for todays performance though, Ravi’s goal was a scorcher!
I see Tamworth won today so that means our league match with them on the 13th November will need to be moved!

Played alright yesterday, I was heading up fully expecting to get beat in a similar way to South Shields a couple of years ago. But we matched them and were on top for periods of the game.
Had a few chances first half defended well. They’re first goal is one of those you can’t do much about and heads dropped for a bit for them to get the second.
From there it was all us and we were unlucky not to get anything from it! Everyone played well and put in a proper shift.
Slight concern again was the lack of ambition with the subs, making straight swaps when we were 2-0 with only 10 left and not risking anything was odd to me but a lot of good things from yesterday

I agree. I had hoped we could change the Lowestoft date to a Saturday, but see they are scheduled to play Coalville who also lost. All the other teams that lost we have recently played or are due to play in the next month.
