Don't get me wrong, I'll take the result all day long, but for at least an hour that was woeful.

Midfield is poor. Once Claudio went off, it really showed how lightweight we are. Slinn hasn't made a tackle for 180 minutes now, and FBT looks well out of his depth. Both games, we have been absolutely dominated in the middle of the park.

More worrying for me, is that we were being totally dominated for a long time in that second half, and when a change did come, it was like for like. Peaks had absolutely zero idea how to change that match.

Keeper kept us in that again today, and we've absolutely robbed them at the end. Points are points, and I'm glad we've nicked them, but that was a pretty worrying performance again today

COYD!
Well you got that spot on. I was worried when I heard so many not available but gave those who faced the chop a chance to redeem themselves which they certainly did.
Wasn’t pretty, defence was solid. But three points I’ll take that! Was amusing standing next to some Coalville fans and hearing their take on the game, every other word being f*** this, f*** that , but they were good sports.

Interesting take considering the positive result against a team I'd expect to finish in the top 2, but to be fair there's not a lot you've said there I could argue with!

It wasn't great but I didn't expect it to be after Tuesday's game. I think it would have been unrealistic to expect us to churn out a vintage display after a performances as bad as that. It was however better, we looked a lot more organised defensively. Lorraine as expected did a better job as the lone-striker but his really was a selfless task. Great composure from Joel to score the winner, he had what felt like an age to work out how where he was going to put that.

A totally unexpected 3 points and we're off and running.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Like I said, I'll take the result, I'm more than happy with 3 points against a really decent team. Just the concern that we're not going to get that luck every week, and for large periods of the game we looked like passengers.

I don't expect us to be anywhere near the playoffs this season to be honest, but always expect a certain level of competitiveness from a diamonds team, and not sure I've seen it yet.

Great finish from Joel though, and determination to break forward. I thought he looked done a few minutes before that, but he seemed to find a last push to get forward and nick it for us

Agree with everything said, wasn’t expecting that result at all but 3 points is 3 points.. Once again Snedker absolutely brilliant and could have easily been a loss. Back 4 pretty solid and Casey was just unfortunate with the slip when the penalty was conceded. But amazing run by Joel to take the winner. I can’t remember the last time I actually jumped up and celebrated a goal which was nice to do..

What’s happening with the burger monster? Is it opening soon? Not sure if the curry van was there the other night as I didn’t attend, however the tikka masala and rice today was exceptional. Not sure if it would appeal to me to pay £8 a match though but as a one off was very nice indeed. Maybe the prices put people off as it didn’t look that busy both before the game or half time either..

And lastly I think that seemed to be the lowest attendance I’ve seen in a while, something like 386? Quite surprising as I thought this would have attracted more. Maybe the weather put people off and other Saturday football is back. But a positive game anyways and nice to return to HR again

Admittedly haven't been to the "famous" places for food like Kidderminster but had a curry today and it was the best food I've had at a non-league match. Agreed it may not be an every game thing but if I know it's there would be worth planning a meal around. Apparently they'll be back bank holiday weekend!

My understanding is that Haydn resigned from his duties at the beginning of last season. Probably coincided with the Club relinquishing control of the Clubhouse. I also recall there was an outside mobile catering van at the PDB end last October prior to lockdown.
