Not pretty, not a match to live long in the memory, but winning ugly is part of the recipe of success and we did that yesterday!
Loved the set up at Halesowen! Proper old style football ground and the weather couldn’t have been better to stand out on that high terrace! Not a classic to watch sadly, but with clubs scrapping for their lives at the bottom of the table these kind of games are often where you drop points. We didn’t - mission accomplished!
We’re right in the mix now and if we can win at home next Saturday against Alvevhurch it’ll send out a message to our fans and competitors that we can take this to the death!
4th in the table is way higher than i thought we’d be - well done guys, keep ticking them off - 11 games to go!
