Don't know where to start with that performance. Lacking any real quality or ideas in the final third, against an average but hard working Uxbridge side. Although our opponents never looked like scoring neither did we, being as we're meant to be the top side in the division. On this form we're going to end up in the play-off and you wouldn't be too confident in a one legged semi and final. Having said that, if we were to pick up a couple of wins over the bank holiday weekend, then we'd be back in command, but I really cannot see us overhauling beaconsfield on Saturday. Tonight really was a must win and although it didn't come it's still in our hands. Keep up the support and our current fortunes may just change!

Scared football in bucketloads. This team now needs to get together and sort itself out. It's good enough but looks like it's bottling.
Step forward now management and get them back on track.

A few weeks ago Andy said the team while winning are sorting themselves out and only when we lose will he have to step in and guide them, well that time is now!
We have gone from what seemed a close knit group to a group that is arguing and bitching at each other, really surprising and it’s time for everyone to come together.
I really hope our vocal support travel in numbers on Saturday, really need everyone behind the team now.

This is getting ridiculous. I’d put the sudden dip from the performance at Fleet to at HW down to the opposition but it seems we’ve got big issues being unable to beat Uxbridge at home. Anticipated my visits to Beaconsfield and Northfields would be coronations but instead they’re going to be nervy affairs! COYD!

Well I suppose you could take the glass half full approach and say that we're three points clear at the top coming to end of March and even if we lose on Saturday we'll still be top, but make no mistake, this was a very poor result tonight from a team that seems to have lost all cohesion and confidence that it had not long ago, and it is baffling how we have gone from talking about which day we could wrap up the league to looking perilously close to dropping out of the automatic promotion spots altogether in just a few games...
Getting a nasty sense of deja vu from two season ago in this league, only this time we've barely got any time to pull ourselves together, our rivals are picking up the points when it matters and we're slumping when it matters, still in our hands, but the teams below us will all be confident of knocking us off our perch this Easter weekend and we absolutely must conjure up two positive results from somewhere, any less than 4 points and I fear it'll be another season of the playoffs for us tbh.

Worringly, control of the league is now in Beaconsfield's hands. Even if we beat them on Saturday, if they win every game (and get some good scores on the way to help with GD) they can win the title even if we win everything we play now. If Beaconsfield win it's more or less all over for the league title.
Are we the Spurs of Northamptonshire?

Not sure how you work that one out. If they win their game in hand they'd go level on points but behind us on GD. Beat them on Sat we'd go three points ahead - so if we won every game and so did they, we would finish three points above them. Would however be the other way round if they win on Saturday

Thought they had one more game in hand than they actually do, my mistake.

What's with the long ball? It's like we don't know how to play.
The ref wasn't much cop but that performance isn't going to make everyone race down to Beaconsfield.
