League form goes out tge window when it comes to cup competitions. How many times have we knocked out higher league opposition? I think we'll be favourites and get a draw at minimum, but to say we'll win comfortably is tempting fate IMOdiamondsteve wrote: Mon Aug 21, 2017 7:47 pm Loads of positive people in here. What about our start to the season...? Don't you think we will win then?

Re: FA Cup First Qualifying Round Draw
Last time we faced Step 6 opposition in a competitive game - Bedfont & Feltham - we made a right pigs ear of it and were quite fortunate to beat them 2-1. That was in the middle of our 10-month unbeaten run during 2015.
Only a handful of players that were involved for us that day 2 years ago are still with us.

Less than 2 years ago and only Bully, Shanks and Sam in both starting line ups, from that day and last Saturday.BartonRaz wrote: Mon Aug 21, 2017 8:55 pm Last time we faced Step 6 opposition in a competitive game - Bedfont & Feltham - we made a right pigs ear of it and were quite fortunate to beat them 2-1. Well that was a nice stroll in the park on a sunny afternoon. Credit to Tivvy for a spirited performance the like of which we may need in a future round. Roll on Monday, let's have anybody at home.

Home to Baldock, Deeping or Boston Town would be nice, probably be away to K*ttering!
