Arguably lucky to even got a draw today, the few Drayton fans next to me were pissed off at the penalty decision and tbh I think they may have had a point with an extra ball clearly on the field in the penalty box, you would have thought the ref would have stopped play immediately as soon as he saw the ball on the pitch and not in the corner way out of the way either, yet he carried on and gave the penalty, a bit puzzling there really and I don't think we would have been happy had it been the other way round.

But every team has off days, it wasn't a good performance or result, but we continue to extend our unbeaten run and I'm sure they'll put it right in the next game.

We so need a goalscoring partner for Nabil .I agree generally about our lack of a goalscorer, but where would you get a decent striker at this stage of the season.?
Any half good player is already with a successful club so why would he want to leave. The only option is someone who is scoring goals for a mediocre team and is looking for success.
In the past two seasons we took Berwick and Sandy , two players with a good record, but neither burst the net too often did they?

We need to find another Jack Bowen or get the original one back, but he has been injured so will he be the same player that we saw at the end of last season. Jack like Jake should not have tried to make the jump from UCL to Step 2 too soon. Another season with us could have helped Bowen immensely.

We could of course blow the budget....and end up like FC United as described in another thread on this site.
