Has anyone got any idea what happened to the lad who was sub keeper last year? Played in the last few minutes of the 2014 Chris Ruff Memorial Cup as I remember - did he go out on dual registration to cogenhoe? Any idea if he's still on the books?

Rhys Redding? No idea, would assume he's not on the books with this new lad that's just come in and Haynes.

Rhys Redding is with Cogenhoe this season. Last season's sub keeper was Alex Vitue, who I believe picked up an injury prior to the start of this season.

A bit worrying that we have deemed it necessary to sign another keeper. Does that mean Findlays finger is not healed? or that Haynes is not available/good enough?

Given Finners finger was at right angles it may be the former, sure he would have had it checked though even though it was back in place and looking ok, no doubt if he's anything like ok he will play after all he is a keeper and it normally takes more than a finger injury to stop them.

Quincy used to dislocate his shoulder fairly often, and just popped it back in and carried on, so there's no excuse for Finners to miss any game time with a dislocated finger!

Having dislocated a finger playing rugby i can assure you the joint will be very stiff for a week or so, and mine was put back quickly by the ref, dread to think what it would be like if you had to wait for hours at A nd E, that Coalville supporter would have saved Finners a lot of pain

I think that Coalville supported was trying to cause him a lot of pain, or is a rope and pulley the normal method. To be fair he did it at the 2nd attempt and did us a massive favour, he was a decent bloke as well who was threatening to come and watch us again before the season is over.
