FT 0-1

Concord hit the crossbar in the last minute too!

Sounds like they played quite well with no cutting edge, lots of chances but not many on target!

Only two goals conceded in past 3 games. So tightening up defence after that 0-5 home defeat.

If it goes to a replay, anyone know when it would be?

Usually the following Tuesday I think, so the K*ttering game would probably be moved.

Here's brief highlights from Concord's match against Wealdstone. Not much crowd noise but quite a din from the dug outs! :hmmm:

Gutted I can't make this game. Only the 3rd game I've missed this calendar year I believe and the first away one. I'd love it if we can get them back to our place on Tuesday - at least!

Spent most of my morning watching last season's FA Cup run on YouTube. I think Dolman's goal at Barwell is in my top 2/3 footballing moments ever. Ashton United ended up in the Northern Premier League play-offs, losing to Salford City in the semi-finals.

Was that at Concord or Wealdstone's ground? Whichever, it looks a total dump!! How has that passed ground-grounding for Step 2?? :hmmm:

You're forgetting that the ground grading regulations for clubs who are not AFC Rushden & Diamonds are completely different than for clubs who are AFC Rushden & Diamonds. For the record, I think that was Concord's ground, and it wasn't that bad IMO.... we've played in worse at Conference National level.

I can't recall seeing those mobile goal frames being used in a match before. I don't think the pitch looks too clever for this stage of the season, but we are used to far worse on the fans side of the fences - e.g. the recent trip to Carlton Town, which proved Dave's theory admirably.
