No club can sxign on any player until 1st July. You ask them if they will commit and then hope that they are honest in their reply.

That's a big blow,

Wish Jack Bowen all the best at Brackley.

Maybe we can get him back on duel registration.

shame because I thought he was really good when he was with us, always put an amazing amount of effort in - don't recall seeing anyone run as much as him, his effort was rewarded with that goal against that team where the keeper kicked the ball against him I can't remember. wish him the very best of luck and hope he knows he's welcome back here any time!!! :good:

I know OD2 didn't rate him :ermm: , but I felt he could have been very effective for us next season.
Big step up to their level though.
There's a big difference between not rating a player and not thinking they're going to bang in 30 goals in a season to fire us to promotion. We need someone with a proven track record. Best of luck to him, always good to see ex-teammates doing well and Brackley is a great move!

Also on the striker front, Elliot Sandy's Twitter profile makes it sound like he'll be joining James Jepson at Rugby Town next season.

Disappointed to see him go, but best of luck to him.

Hope it isn't true about Elliot

He just tweeted to say he's signed for Stamford

Yep just seen that, good luck to him! Does make me wonder who will be up top for us next year!

Suggest Tom Lorraine who is the main man and offers far more than Sandy. Wasn't really impressed with him from the moment I saw him first play at Royston. Obviously his unfortunate injury didn't help but he never made much impact and really disappointed with his work rate. Clearly wanted to continue at Step 3 level but it's around 40 miles each way to Stamford's ground from his Northampton base so best of luck with that twice a week for training and then on Saturdays for matches.

I keep logging on here each evening hoping to see some news regarding new signings, or anything at all really. Anybody heard anything? Has the Jake Newman rumour got any legs?

Not overly bothered about Sandy. I'm sure he would have been a useful player for us next season but couldn't figure out quite why K*ttering fans seemed to idolise him. Having said that we didn't get to see much of him.
