Just seven goals in the last ten games,(4 in one game) our recognized strikers injured, the only wins against teams in the bottom six.
Kidology or realistic?.
You must be one of the only football fans in the country that writes off his team before the play-offs have even started. What's the point of being a football fan if you don't dare to dream for two cup finals? Clearly our struggle for form can be put down to an incubating period where our team has been gelling (or more accurately still struggling to gel). On current form we have very little chance, but on the individual ability of the XI*, on the CV's of XI, and hopefully on the support of the fans, we can do this. I personally can't wait to be one of 700 men in yellow roaring on and believing in our team for these games.
*particularly Claudiu and the two centre backs.

Don't forget that one of the teams that we'll be playing will have just been beaten to the title and that could affect their confidence. It's also about time we got a bit of luck with refereeing decisions (penalties, sending offs against us etc.) but first we have to come out and compete for every ball. Away from home we need to set up as hard to beat first, then we need to take any chances that present themselves.

I just dreamt that we drew 0-0 AET to Royston and then lost 4-2 on penalties.

You sure that was a dream and not a nightmare and was it the semi or the final?.

You may be right on one thing though. I can only see us winning on pens after 0-0 draws!

Absolutely no idea. One of the most vivid dreams I've had in a while, Dolman and Lee missed their penalties.

Also, our rendition of Yellow Army was shocking. Hopefully we can create an atmosphere akin to Aldershot and Oxford (my two favourite away day atmopsheres)

Games like today and the play-offs are when you find out why players play the game. Are they just there for the money, not really bothered about the result or are they on that pitch for the glory, the chance to be part of something special, to win, to compete and to come off that field head held high knowing that they did all they could and looking into the eyes of their team mates and seeing the same thing.
These should be the games when you look around at the rest of the team and say to yourself "I will leave nothing on this field today, I will not be the one to let us down"
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Live is hard enough hearing some of your daytime thoughts and visions but Christ your now posting your night time thoughts, please don't ever include pictures the thought of you a box of tissues and a signed shirt from your favourite Diamonds player would be too much.
