Your just frustrated because you claimed we'd won the league already when we signed Stevenson.diamondsteve wrote:I feel so angry!!! Do the players genuinely feel then same though... Gods knows what's happened to us. How many shots on target did we have today? A side which sits top?

No, they don't give a flying one, they have no pride in their own performance or in performing for the fans.*diamondsteve wrote:I feel so angry!!! Do the players genuinely feel then same though...

We struggle in big games so I doubt we'd go up in the play-offs.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Relax chaps, we'll win the play offs.

Got to be worried if that's our response to last weeks really poor performance with today possibly worse? Not a fan of gordan (at right back) or hipwell surely Kennedy should be starting. Two really flat and lifeless performances in a row.

Thought Kennedy has looked a little unsure at left back, maybe be better on the right. Maybe Ashton to be shifted on the left, it's a difficult position to fill and Sam brown never really had a challenger for his placeRushden123 wrote:Got to be worried if that's our response to last weeks really poor performance with today possibly worse? This is my fear too, I'm really excited to be in a league with playoffs again and it feels great to be in a position where it looks like we will at least have a playoff spot at the end of the season, but we've just found it so difficult against the better teams in this league, so I'm not sure I'd fancy us to win the playoffs tbh.ParcelFace wrote:We struggle in big games so I doubt we'd go up in the play-offs.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Relax chaps, we'll win the play offs.

I'm pleased to see such passion about our football club. God help us if we're all the same. It is time for the players to step it up again if they really have any ambitions to win the league or the play offs. Management must be cross, and I'd expect no less.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:No, they don't give a flying one, they have no pride in their own performance or in performing for the fans.*diamondsteve wrote:I feel so angry!!! I find a some of you on here perplexing. This forum is all hush hush when we are winning and suddenly we have a little dip and it's toys out the pram en masse. I remember I was lambasted for suggesting I expect promotion/play-offs at the start of the season, and now we're here, I'm happy and some of you who wanted/expected mid table are throwing a hissy fit. See the bigger picture. We're up challenging at the top of table, and have had a brilliant season so far. Let's wait till we know our destiny for sure before making rash statements.
Still, there's no doubt about it now; every single remaining league game is a cup final if we want to get promoted, and for each of this squad if they want a future at this football club next season.

The bar that Stevenson and the team set the following games after he'd signed would be enough to win the league. So he and the team have shown what there capable of.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Your just frustrated because you claimed we'd won the league already when we signed Stevenson.diamondsteve wrote:I feel so angry!!! What's made me so angry is the fact that these performances have come of some of the best games I have witnessed us play , Hall playing the best 45 mins I have seen a afcrd player play , Hoban the following game against st Ives too now to this !
