It's a shame we have to have it at Sixfields. How many fans do people think will come? 3000?

I'm not bothered about playing K*ttering or this competition, but it's nice to hear that we beat a team from higher up. Hopefully this'll give us some confidence going into Saturday and the important business of the league.

I know we can't predict what will happen, but it's looking like we'll have a (potentially) massive game the Saturday after the Final (16th) away at Egham!!

Now we're in the final, especially against the old enemy, I want to win it !! But if the league is tight and we need to beat Egham........!

Even half that would be a decent turnout really, it's hard to guess how many will come, will it be one of these games where lots of people come out of the woodwork to witness 2 old foes meeting for the first time in half a decade, or will people be put off by the fact it's a relatively meaningless trophy on a Tuesday night? I remember Corby fans getting hyped up for a Hillier Cup game away at K*ttering several years back and taking like 600 fans to the Rockinghorse, so sometimes even Hillier Cup games can attract some local interest, but either way, I'd be surprised to see more than 2000 there, if that, probably 1000-1500.

I'm kind of looking forward to going to Sixfields though, it may be the home of team I don't particularly like, but nevertheless it'll still be by far the best ground we've played at in the reformed club's history.

Surely the final will be the biggest game in the club's short history, with the exception of the last game in the UCL Div. 1?

Never actually saw any Diamonds-K*ttering games with the old club so I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hoo-hah is about, along with a chance to win some silverware. Bring on April!

How many times between now and April are we going to see pics of passed K*ttering games? :lazy:

I can't see the rivalry being what it was, and surely if the egham away game is Improtant peaksy will take priority in that over this fixture?

I think there will be too much hype and the attendance won't be half of what people think..3000? I'm guessing 1500 if that..

That wasn't a bad game. The lads were hanging on the last twenty but apart from the one he pushed over the bar Finners didn't really have a save to make.

Quigley and Jacko were blowing out of their arses at the end, which isn't surprising given the lack of football they've played.

Stevenson's finish was top class and was a good outlet when the ball was transitioned from defence.

Nice to see some old friends, especially the Duke.

Bigger than the Barwell games? Or Dover? It's only the County Cup, if we won it and don't win the promotion I'd guess most would remember the season for the latter.

I think the crowd will be under 1,000.
