0-4, ouch, heaviest defeat since that miserable January day at Oadby (unless I've forgotten anything)
What on earth happened?

Utter rubbish from start to finish, some really dreadful performances from the players and some that are simply not good enough.

It was bound to happen at some point. Fortunate it happened on a game week where Chalfont also lost points. A bit disappointed it came against a team we should really be getting points off, however. I'm sure it'll give Peaksy a lot to think about.
Also not sure with how the Twitter feed was handled today, looked fairly unprofessional today.

Beaconsfield absolutely dominated us from start to finish. We couldn't get out of our own half. Can't explain that given recent results.

Our guys turned up for the coach, sadly not the match! Shocking today, poor across the pitch! Can't explain why - confused of Bedford here!

Only positives are that Chalfont lost and we complete another away game against one of the top 10 teams.

Just 15 games to go of which 9 are at home so we are still in a pretty good position.

Very poor performance, very poor, deserved nothing from the game.
We need to buck up are ideas.
As least Chalfont St Peter lost.
Also on other positive(s) note at least we still top of the league, and also we've played a lot more away games than the rest. Which is good.

Well there ain't many positives after that result and performance, but talk about a bad day at the office. But firstly let's not take anything away from beaconsfield who were far superior, hungrier and wanted it more.. They were superb and dominated from start to finish from the off.
Really can't see how beaconsfield are a team that the lads should be "taking points off" as their home record before today's game was impressive. But they showed that..
I think the boys mustered maybe 2 attempts towards goal and even they wasn't enough to get the keepers shorts dirty. Should tom Lorraine have had a penalty in the first half? I was down the opposite end and it seemed yes, would it have been a game changer? Probably not but that's the way it goes sometimes not every game is winnable..
It would be unfair to start picking out poor performances because I really can't put my finger on one player who had a half decent game. They all played to a similar standard and what's important is Tuesday they bounce back and perform to reach a final...
What I do know is speaking to Brad after the game he looked utterly deflated and he could easily have seen red today for an over reaction in the middle, top lad who has passion for the club!!
One more word on the ref who I thought was poor.. I thought on a few occasions he showed a lack of respect in telling players constantly to shut up, but too quick to flash a yellow for what he received back.. And I'm not sure I've heard a vocal ref in constantly saying no foul and giving players instructions? Do prem referees do that or do I need a higher education in lip reading on match of the day
On to Tuesday lads.. It's a new day!!!
