Chalfont got spanked, so point very much gained!

Away point against one of the form sides and coming from behind to get it - I'll take that

A very good point with 10 men for a fair amount of time. We couldn't get there today and are finding it tight go get to the away games. The home games are very important for the supporters, like us, to get along to, and any points away from home are an added bonus to the 3 points that need to be secured at home.
We are very close to being top and I think if we got there, followed by a couple of games against teams lower down the table, we could put ourselves in a very strong position to be champions.
Fingers crossed, we get some drier weather to keep the home games on.

I've been a little critical of late but credit where it's due, I thought we played very well today. Even with 10 men we looked by far the better side. The sending off was a game-changer though for sure, I thought we were heading for a comfortable win against the league's form side. Kennedy had made an excellent start to the game. Richards was rightly voted MOM.

I've heard a few positive comments about Kennedy, which is really good to hear. He's got a few weeks to get used to things before we lose him, so hopefully I get to see him next Saturday.
With Chalfont losing it was a point closer to the top, we're creeping there - but everyone else is taking points off each other - the trick is to not lose eh?
Wasn't there yesterday, but very encouraged by the positive reports I've heard !!

Not sure of the rules, but doesn't the ban come in 14 days after the offence??

Nope. Should be only a 1 match ban since he was sent off for denying obvious goal scoring opportunity and not serious foul play or violent conduct.
Denying obvious goal scoring opportunity - 1 match
Offensive/insulting/abusive language or gestures - 2 matches
Serious foul play/violent conduct/spitting at an opponent or any other person - 3 matches

Mal's pics are added to the match report - some real crackers, especially of the celebration of the second goal, and the action once the downpour started.
