Much improved performance in the second half, the own goal from Bedford seemed to wake us up and there was a quality goal from Tommy. :clapping:

That was as grim as it gets, but it's hard to be negative when we win.

Bunting was sorely missed. Hall contributed more in 5 minutes than many did in 95.

Lots to be negative about, that's easy !! But play poorly and win that's the stuff of Champions :)

A few years ago we didn't have a club so some perspective required I think !! This sums up how I feel tonight!

Shawn Richards impressed me again today, he's got some real quality.

Shame that he share's that position with another decent wide player in Hall, as one of them has to be on the bench each week.

I thought he was better on the left than Claudio today though, even if it was for a short amount of time.

Not pretty at all and even in the second half when we did improve we still were only good in patches and were even perhaps slightly fortunate to not concede late on, but a win's a win and a win and three points was all I wanted to see this Christmas, we needed that for sure, well done lads for getting that result.

A good 3 points at a tricky place. Not pretty but 3 points in the bag. A good goal from Berwick, just a shame that Chalfont won.

There 1st goal looked a mile offside, how the linesman missed it, i don't know how. The crowd looked more than 667.

The crowd yesterday was the highest recorded in the SL Central and SW divisions this season. I wonder where they all came from?

Lets hope for a similar or better turnout on saturday.

In the Premier Division only Weymouth, Dorchester and Kings Lynn have had bigger crowds this season.

Saw a few Bedford people I know that never go to the Eagles there yesterday, I think Boxing Day always brings out the floaters !!

In terms of Richards, Hall and Hoban, I'd drop Claudio at the moment and play Richards on the left, said so after the match yesterday. Claudio needs either a rest or to buck his ideas up - a period on the bench may help him to do both!

Still a good win though - Bedford had picked up recently so although our first half wasn't pretty, it was encouraging to see us respond - onwards and upwards with a smile on our faces!!
