Aylesbury keeper off already and we're 1-0 up. Could be a good night in store!

I think that game was as frustrating as the game at Stewarts & Lloyds a couple of seasons ago. We should have had a cricket score, but sloppy finishing meant it looked like we'd have to settle for just three goals until the three late subs breathed some life into a disappointing second half. Had they been used a bit earlier we might have got an appropriate result, and perhaps provided a bit more encouragement to our wasteful strikeforce to be more clinical - and Matt Pinder's run with a fine end product might have been a timely reminder to our wide players too.

When lowly opposition gets their goalkeeper sent off within 10 minutes and doesn't have a proper replacement the result isn't really in doubt. It became a poor spectacle after that incident but you can only beat what's put in front of you.

Agree with Formic that I would have liked to have seen the three subs on earlier. Tom Lorraine looks like he needs a rest.

Peaksie does seem to have zero options with regard to alternative strikers at present. We have had no news regarding the availability or otherwise of Herbert, Joseph, Lamb-Johnson and Spriggs. :ermm:

I believe the post-match interview will shed some light on the various absentees.
