Says on the ET website that Jack's injured his ACL. If he's properly injured it a Luke Shaw-style leg break would have been preferable in terms of recovery time.Sid wrote:But apparently Jack's injury is bad. In which case we urgently need another defender.
When did this happen. in training?BartonRaz wrote:Says on the ET website that Jack's injured his ACL. I've noticed that he's had a knee issue all season. In one home match, against Aylesbury United, about 6 weeks ago he was substituted early in the first half with a knee problem and then missed the next home match against Chalfont St. Peter. There was a recent picture of him in the NT (see below) against Bedford Town, with all that elasticated tape on his knee, similar to that sported by Claudio at Deepings.TheIncognitoKid wrote: When did this happen. in training?
He tweeted this morning saying he had received some 'good news'. Think he was off to see a specialist this morningJames Beil wrote:If it is a complete ACL tear, I wouldn't expect to see Ashton back in action this side of April. I'm not sure if the recovery time for a partial tear would be any less, but whatever it is, let's hope it's not something that will keep him off the pitch for too long.
