This is a serious issue that now needs urgent attention. I was speaking to a fan at the Bedfont match who said he had spoken to the club after the unsavoury scenes witnessed at Ware. I don't believe he was present at Kings Langley on Tuesday evening.
It has happened far too many times now in the last few months. I don't think we've been the instigators on any occasion, but we've certainly not hesitated to get involved either.
I've only witnessed one of the incidents - the one at Ware, but that seemed to flare up in more than one area, and the one in front of me appeared more unprovoked than I would have liked.
I felt as puzzled then as I did in the Graham Westley reign when we suddenly seemed to get involved in these sorts of incidents - I remember one was at
Gravesend in the FA Trophy, and there was another at Nene Park but I can't remember the opposition.

The only serious one I recall at Nene Park was against a vile Histon team when both Tomlin and Woodhouse picked up stupid and unnecessary red cards. I'm pretty sure that was under Benny's reign though.

I checked back, and it was the game against
St Albans I was thinking of, when the players had a tussle after a dive by a St Albans player. It's amazing to note there were almost 2500 at that game, yet the football on show was dire - leading me to note in the match report "The first half was an awful spectacle, with neither side deserving to get anything out of it. "

Just not good enough today. Think we really missed Jack Ashton. No width in the first half, once Spriggs and Herbert were on I can't recall anything useful they did. Spriggs was greedy and often took on his man rather than passing. Lawless as usual offered nothing - think he'll get as many touches this season as he got goals last season.

Very poor today from start to finish. Team selection and subs clearly had one eye on next week. Only good thing is that Ashton scouts would have learnt zero from today's game. We need another striker if we are to continue to progress. Basford were an average team, we have beaten better this year.

Lost 3-1.
To be honest we didn't deserve anything from that game, we were second best all over the pitch.
Strange decision to start Charlie Butt on the left, which didn't work at all. Fair play it was addressed at half time by bringing on Courtney. Looked like the change in tactics would work with our goal but wasn't meant to be, poor performance overall.
