What sort of poor excuse is that??? I thought I was the lightweight, at least my excuses are awesome.
lolz. :D
a couple of hundred quids worth of low energy LED light bulbs supplied and fitted for free is awesome in my book.
Good luck to the mighty whites today.

Even though it ended 0-0 I thought it was a really good and evenly contested game apart from Quigley's shocking challenge!!! he really must eradicate that from his game else he's gonna miss more games through suspension than he plays!!! Hope he's not gonna be a liability :( :( :(

On the plus side it was good to see Scott Joseph at the game.

Agree on Quigley's challenge, OTT and completely unnecessary in that part of the pitch and in pre-season, lucky not to not get a booking even if it was just a friendly, wasn't it a poor challenge that led to the brawl in the Biggleswade match? (Though I wasn't at the Biggleswade match so I can't comment further)

Shame there were no goals and it wasn't the most exciting of matches, but we matched them throughout I thought and made a good account of ourselves, we looked pretty solid at the back which was pleasing to see. Not many stand out performances, but Spriggs looks like he'd make a great signing and he's got a very good work-rate which is always good to see.

The defence for me is starting to take shape with solid performances, even if we haven't seen Brown and Ashton for the last two. Wilkinson looks very reliable and Butt did well in an unfamiliar left back roll. Midfield did ok as did Lorraine who was up top on his own after Herbert when off injured early. Still time is need to find the right blend from the wide players, as we have 5 or 6 players who can play out there. Think Lawless needs to start on Tuesday as he hasn't been given much of a chance to show what he can do, looks a little off the pace at the mo.

Who is Ben Heath? Is he an under 21 player or a trialist?

Good performance again against higher opposition, wasn't the greatest of games but they didn't look two leagues above us. The defence was solid and gordan looks a quality signing alongside bully. Be interesting to see who the cb partnership is come the start of the season. Both keepers looked decent also, anyone know where Heath has come from?
