I've seen segregation at Steel Park - when Corby played Kidderminster in the FA Cup a few years ago.

The problem with taking the Red Insure Cup seriously is that you could end up somewhere like Bideford or Tiverton on a Tuesday night. I believe you can actually opt out of the competition, or at least you could in years gone by.

YES PLEASE.

In all seriousness, looking at last years competition, it looks very heavily regionalised until the Semi-Final stage.

Well with us being in 4 cups, all of which K*ttering are in as well, I imagine there's a fairly reasonable chance of us drawing them in a cup at some point in the next few years, especially in the Hillier with only what, 10 teams? But yeah, as much as I can't wait to see the rivalry being again, logistically I can see why such a fixture would be a nightmare, has the D&D (or even LP for that matter) ever been segregated? Could any of the gates down the end of the ground act as entrances for away fans, like the one near the stand, or is that not possible?

But even if we don't draw the Plops in a cup, there's still the chance of an FA Cup game or even, dare I say it, a playoff game requiring segregation within the next few years.

You'd have to go via Whitworhs to get there.

Any formal segregation measures at the Dog & Duck needs to have separate catering and toilets for away fans.

I understand consideration has been given to long term segregation, should we remain at the ground and need it in the future. It would require access and necessary approval(s) via an existing footpath/right of way that leads from the Embankment (opposite the water park) and then create a new pedestrian access/turnstile through the fence in the corner near the training area.

However, I think that will be a long time in future.

I'm guessing the free dates are reserved for potential progression in the cups?

What are people's views on the midweek games, and how far they might fancy travelling in midweek for a league game? With 6 midweek league matches before Christmas that will mean 3 away trips in midweek. Will the trip to Bedford be reserved for the Christmas / New Year period? A trip to Barton Rovers or St Ives won't be too bad, although travelling to Arlesey isn't the easiest (although it has excellent parking), so perhaps Leighton Buzzard or Royston might be better. One that might cause issues is the trip to Aylesbury FC, as their ground has very poor access and parking (unless things have been improved since my visit there a few years back).

Having done Torquay and Swansea and a few other long distance Tuesday evening trips, anywhere really, providing I can get out of work early enough :)

Arlesey is a doddle to get to. It literally is straight through Bedford.
