Far nearer for 20 mins away. Shepshed currently mid table EMC, 20 points behind leaders Basford, but they now have ex Corby and Brackley player Steve Towers, Jon Stevenson, Levi Porter and Julian Joachim. I'm waiting for Callum Earls to join them!

Holbeach have just announced the signing of Tidswell, so money is still being spent there. Although if they need to finance that by ditching Duffy, I think that's a risky move. Anyway, clearly a lot is happening right now at Carter's Park, all appearing to stem from that Vase exit.
Anyway, it's in our hands now - if we keep pushing till the end it should be ours. Big next couple of gsmes, vital we put Huntingdon away this afternoon!

Yes Sid, I looked at the league table and put the wrong abbreviation when posting. Sounds like Shepshed may be putting a strong squad together for promotion next season.

Presume all have read the Drury's article in the Spalding rag. We all knew he's a jumped up arrogant little s..t but not sure anyone was aware he was that far up his own arse. The whole article could be summarised with.
I don't give a flying f..k about the UCL or Holbeach but as a Club they were daft enough to fund my dream of being the most annoying little git to walk out at Wembley since Dennis Wise. Well that dream has now gone & so have I. Everyone else at the Club owes everything to me as I did everything including the development of most of the players into what they are today, this was done without training as I'm such a f...ing smart arse I did it during games whilst simultaneously hurling insults at the opposition bench & supporters. Can't see anything other than total collapse for the Club now I'm gone as like I may have mentioned before, they are nothing without me, but I've tried to help my ex "joint Manager" out by putting people in place but without me me me me me they are f...ed.
Would love to be a fly on the wall next time Chand & Drury's paths cross.
Wisbech have IMO been the main threat for the last few weeks and I can't see anything better than 3rd for Holbeach. Not sure they even want to win the league as that would mean the embarrassment of declining the promotion they have applied for, as with what they may well be left with come August the last thing they would want is Step 4 football. They were sadly mugged off by little Mr Angry & wasted a bucket load of money on his dream.

According to a recent tweet Drury only resigned from Holbeach to give us a chance. I wonder where he'll pitch up next? Running out of options, particularly since he now needs a chauffeur.

Yes a cowardly way out for Drury - that interview was extremely patronising towards Chand and his managerial abilities, who must be now regretting standing by his ex-partner's behaviour. Looking back Holbeach must be kicking themselves - in the summer they had everything in place to win the league and reach at least the semis of the Vase. Then they decided to bring the criminal in and it went sour. They have themselves to blame for that horrendous decision, but can't help thinking there must be some loyal backroom staff at that club who perhaps deserved better than to be dragged into Drury's unpleasant ways and seeing their hopes go up in smoke by February.

How much is Tidwell on? It's not only Duffy, I understand Dube's gone as has Kern Miller and Jake Gibson. Marty Nolan joined Spalding recently too,

Haven't seem confirmation of Dube going yet but this was their team today, which included Gibson:
Conroy, Delahoy, Gibson, Cartwright, Brown, Beeson, Kirby, King, Parker, Tidswell, Clarke
