I'd actually like to see no postponements, just so that if the title was won by the fourth week of February the fixtures secretary would look like even more of an idiot! That run of two homes, four aways, two homes is so stupid, when two of the homes games are on Tuesday nights in winter!

Now we have moved into the relms of impossibility.
Please Santa can you deliver us enough points over the next 2 1/2 months to allow us to get out of Mickey Mouse Premier this Season. Like everyone I understand the possible problems with arranging fixtures, but the basic principle of 1 at home 1 away is not that f in hard to follow. It hasn't only been us this season who have had the daft runs of loads at home/away on the spin. The only surprise is they got any fixtures out at this time of year as they must be very busy in Panto.

It's an absolute joke, the run of home games in October clearly had a dent on our attendances, as many people (including myself) couldn't afford that many home games in a row.

It's back of a fag packet stuff it really is, and it embarrasses the league. Anyone with any sense (and a bit of computer know-how with spreadsheets) could have come up with a formula for one home, one away (or as close to as possible).

Am I right in thinking that leaves us with 4 home games and 1 away game to be arranged post-Feb? Cogenhoe, Wisbech and Huntingdon in that 5 though.

The other 2 are, Long Buckby at home and Eynesbury Rovers away.

Probably of no interest to you, but I'm just venting my spleen too,..... Buckby have NO games over the Xmas and New Year. Then we have 3 games, all at Home, in 8 days, the 1st week of January!!!
What planet is the fixture secretary on?????

BTW One of your ex players....Nat Liburd; has parked his caravan up at Buckby now.

Was waiting to see where he would pop up next as no sign or mention of him at Cogenhoe for over a month. Presume enough time has elapsed since his last spell there to avoid him contravening any "returning within a given period" law. Was expecting him to appear at Welly as we havn`t played them yet so he could have maxed out on games against us.
See Joe Henderson scored for Woodford last night though they ended up loosing 2-1 to Spencer who look like they will run away with Div 1.

He joined the UCL Committee, so has now had the operation to remove whatever cells he had between his ears, though we do take him out for "a drink and a dribble" most Saturdays though I`m not sure he is very aware of what`s going on. Poor chap first a Spurs fan, then Green Bay Fudge Packers now this.
