Yaxley now 2-1 up, they were 2-0 up but only for a few minutes.
I think this is the best scenario for us, especially if we go on to beat Yaxley on Saturday.

FT Yaxley 2-1 Holbeach. Both teams have now lost 3 games already this season.
We can't get complacent of course, but the door's open for us, especially with the spirit we showed on Saturday.

Finished 2-1 Yaxley. Welly lost in the Cup on pens to Cogenhoe & Harrowby had another home game called off, Deeping didn't sound best pleased.

Sileby beat Thrapo 4-1 in the KO Cup as well.
Table looking good tonight - can make it even better if we do well on Saturday.

Our current GD is as good as an extra point, so effectively four points clear with a game in hand on both teams below us and we play Yaxley on Saturday. Hoping Sileby can do us a favour on Saturday against Huntingdon. I wonder if the four games they have to make up will test their squad as it's not the biggest?

If we beat Yaxley on Saturday, depending on how Huntingdon do in the games they've got to get through, I reckon the league will be ours to lose from here on - obviously I don't want to count chickens, but we could be six points clear before Christmas.
Here's hoping Santa brings us some wins as an early x-mas present!

He's had 12 clubs and he's only 23!!! He went straight into the team tonight - fat lot of good that did! Pinky and Perky weren't happy tonight apparently - what a shame! :lol:
