He made Pete Okechukwu look world class. At least with Pete being so bad it was kind of funny to watch. With Ling it was just painful and frustrating.

Good luck to him at Bedford, he just wasn't good enough while he was with us in a lot of peoples eyes.

I can't see him being much better at Bedfords level either to be honest.

Bully seems intent on building a UCL team at Southern League level. They may well have been good enough in the UCL but Bedfords results aren't showing that is the case. I thought they were incredibly poor when we played them at their place, the only stand out player being Aaron Kings brother.

Anyone know where the Kings are as at present Bedford appears to by without a King. Aaron went back after retiring and played one game which looks like it was also Neil's last game for the Eagles, Simon I think left when Aaron went the first time. Hard to sometimes find out what's happening at Bedford as they only do match reports when they win & information is very slow in coming out.

Groundhopper's report on Bedford's match.

Bedford Town 0 - 4 Marlow
Southern League Div 1 Central
Admission £9; Prog £2

There's a feeling of How the Mighty have Fallen at Bedford nowadays, and the way the team performed today, there may be more falling still.
I haven't visited much over the last few years, but there was a marked contrast between today and most of my previous visits of 10 or so years ago. Much easier to get a space in the layby outside with only a couple of hundred in attendance for a start.
Marlow eased to a 4-0 victory in the game itself, taking control with two first half goals, and scoring a couple of late ones to wrap the game up. An entertaining match as a neutral, but could be a long season for Town.
