With:
Turner
Dunkley
Lorraine
Koriya
Joseph
Hard to imagine how Peaksie can keep all of these lads happy with game time. At least Koriya can play wide, but then we have the two from Gearing/ELJ/Koriya problem.
Good problems are still problems ;) - would hate to lose players from what looks to be a pretty impressive squad.
Agree re: Lorraine. I really wasn't having him at all last season, but this season he's been a totally different player.
Koriya stated in a recent interview that he prefers playing up front, but with the addition of Scott Joseph that's looking less and less likely. I was really impressed with Scott last season, bags of potential IMO.

He was very effective for us last season as a supersub, but will he be happy with that.

Welcome to the new guys, it's a squad game and they'll all play their part, especially with the Vase kicking in soon - I think Peaksy can keep them all happy, and having strength in depth should keep the guys with the shirts on their toes eh?
There's strength in depth but yet again the main weakness of the side hasn't been addressed. THE DEFENCE! We have little or no cover for anyone and no competition for places.
To win games we need clean to keep clean sheets and against the top sides like Holbeach, Yaxley Deeping etc etc I can see us struggling to do so. Anyone with a bit of pace and decent finishing we will be found out, I'm almost certain of it. So why have we not added to the defence?

Don't forget we still have Jamal to come back (in fact there was a suggestion we had too many centre backs at the start of the season), and Charlie Butt can also play at full back. Brad is also an option in defence, and Jack Ashton can also play at full-back.

Bit unfair to label him as a 'supersub'. Of his 5 goals for us last season only 2 were from the bench (and both of those against a piss poor Harborough). The three goals he scored having started matches won us 5 points against Yaxley, Wellingborough & S&L Corby.

Agree with the minor concern about cover in defence. We do have options like Brad dropping back (I believe he played centre-back in last season's 2-1 win at Spalding if memory serves) but we could do with a solid, full-on defender. Someone like Joe Henderson basically...
Anyone know if Joe has managed to find himself a new club?
Part get the point about the defence but as stated we do have players who can cover there & Jamel to come back. We started season with 8 in squad who play/have played CB. Not sure of others thoughts but from previous threads & predictions of teams prior to games it appears the preferred back 4 of many is
Merrill Dolman Ashton Brown
I've not checked but have we actually started any of the 13 games with the above??
