They've even resorted to personal snipes at Jon Dunham, someone who has championed KTFC and local football / sport over many years, even if his first team is Norwich. I might be wrong here, but I thought his Dad was a KTFC director - and may even have been the commentator on KTFC games - like this one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4SVmG6I ... 6A&index=2

What a load of miserable, bitter fools they are, at least this 'freak show' has a stable, united and bright future ahead of us!

How ironic that they bring out the 'we're obsessed with them line' in a thread that's been started about us.

Anyway enough about them, that's a really nice article.

What they seem to be able to comprehend is the Desperate Measures thread is the ONE thread we have about them, it was an attempt to keep all the dross in one place and not infect the board with drivel about them, its taken alomost 2 years to get to 4800 odd posts. I've hardly commented on them for ages, they don't figure in my thinking much these days at all, not now they're out of Nene Park.

Just reading some of the comments makes me realise just how bitter and twisted some of them are, pre-season friendly with us???

With the attitudes displayed in that thread they'll never sort themselves out.

Good positive article anyway, nice to see

They never cease to amaze me with their utter stupidness, when will they (and others) get it into their heads that we are not Rushden & Diamonds FC run by Max and then KC...........we are AFC Rushden & Diamonds, a supporters run club, and a community club. Their comprehension of a football club lies somewhere in the early 1970's

I don't even regard them as rivals anymore, they've had it! They're a spent force!

I rarely take notice to what them morons have to say, but I did have a chuckle looking at their forum.. It's like an episode of loose women over there! Bickering amongst themselves now they haven't got us to dig at. Even the half sensible ones are admiring what we're doing. The fact is they're now realising that we're not plastic fans anymore, they're long gone, and some of them don't like it.

I think the reason why some are still bitter, that Herbert Ed in particular, believe that we 'stole' potential ktfc fans. But I don't see that as the case at all.. I'll take a random sample of 5 of my pals (including myself who live across east northants) have grown up supporting diamonds and still do.. If diamonds didn't emerge would any of these five support the poppies?? No. There would be 2 plastic west ham fans, a plastic gooner, a plastic spurs fan, and a plastic Liverpool fan. So now tell me again that max hasn't done anything for local football!

Christ there are some bitter individuals on Ploppynet, especially ktfc_ed, who couldn't have made it more obviously than if he had 'bitter' tattooed on his forehead!!

I just went on poppynet for a laugh and couldnt believe what I was reading
I went to the Thrapston match yesterday, and I don't know if you thought the same as me, but the article doesn't tell the reader how rude, offensive and arrogant the Rushden fans are, and how obsessed they are with K*ttering.

I've been to many a football match in my time on this planet but I've never heard such foul and abusive language used so openly (I lost count how many times they chanted that the linesman was a fat c***). Add on that the abuse towards the Thrapston players about their family members and the on-going chants about K*ttering (it took them a whole thirty seconds of the match to start their first) and I must admit that any respect I had for what they have achieved since their club folded was lost.
I didnt even notice the linesman, and what would we know about the thrapston players family for a start.
