I'd be up for an overnighter as well, up on Friday and back on Saturday - if I have to drive I'll definately be doing that as long as I can get a room somewhere !!

Same, I'm sure if there were enough of us we could get a hotel to reduce prices for R&D fans.Duke of Wimbourne wrote:I'm not missing this for the world, would want to go Friday and come back Saturday night though ;)

Me +1 other might be interested, a lot depends on what time it would leave on the Friday I guess! If it's 10 hours on a coach that means leaving pretty early...
We were thinking of going up Saturday and staying one night. If this isn't a goer, or isn't possible for us though group booking accommodation would still be a good plan!

I'm currently looking at one dayers and Friday depart, back Saturday, but 10 hours no, max on the coach for one way trip is 5 hours, and that will Include a stop somewhere.Jemfy wrote:Me +1 other might be interested, a lot depends on what time it would leave on the Friday I guess! As far as a one-dayer trip goes, the RDISA always had it right.
Leave really early (in this case, say 6am) and have a stop-off local to the ground. In this case, could be Newcastle or a seafront location. Makes a day of it.
