One of my favourite away experiences (apart from FGR) was at Rochdale in the second leg of the L2 play offs. The noise was fantastic, the chips and gravy were lush, the only down side was a scrapped my shin on the seat in front of me, dropped my glasses and nearly broke them, when Paul Hall scored the winner 8-)

Another atmosphere that stands out for me is Stevenage at home in that season. The reaction on the PDB when Wolly's rocket hit the net was one that I hadn't experienced for a heck of a long time previous to that

Great reaction.
No problem, I can't be the only one that imagines the scenes at Oxford if we'd actually scored or if we'd won? It bugged me for about a year after the game and still does every now and then. :(

The Oxford away game was probably one of the best atmospheres I've ever experienced, and we took our whole home attendance up with us. I remember it was a baking hot day, and remember being absolutely gutted when Oxford scored.
I thought we out sang them, and even the Oxford fans said we were the best away support.
Also the game against Cobblers has to be among the best. After months and months of "banter" on the old forum, with Stoney, Exe & Ted, it was great when Billy Sharp (Who?!) scored that goal, some bloke very nearly fell on top of me, and I close to losing my hat!!
And lastly the game against the scum , during the play-off season when we beat them 3-0 at the Rockinghorse, that atmosphere was amazing, and the team was incredible.

The best away game against the scum was in our promotion year, down to 10 men and The Lord Darby does the business

Oxford away was amazing, even if losing was obviously hard to take, though until Oxford scored, the feeling of potentially seeing RDFC at Wembley was very exciting. I missed pretty much all the days of promotions, playoff finals, Leeds away, so it was by far the best atmosphere at an away game I've experienced and I will never forget looking down at the rows and rows of Diamonds fans below me crammed into the corner of the Kassam, just about everyone singing (except for the North standers behind me moaning about people standing up all the time  ), so proud we took more away fans than we had home fans the season after and it was pretty cool being at a game that I think broke the conference attendance record?
Slightly sad thinking about the old club again, I know we should have great times to come, but it may be a while until we get to experience an Oxford type atmosphere again. I'm crossing my fingers for wembley this time next year, we can dream ;)

Trust me, you're not the only one. I also kept thinking, for nearly a year, what if T****y's header had of dropped in instead of going agonisingly milimetres over? Would that have calmed us down? What if Osano had of cut out the through ball for their first goal? I just kept thinking about, like you said, the reaction if we had of scored. 1100 fans going absolutely ballistic. I still think about the game from time to time, but hopefully we'll have many more great memories and atmospheres with AFC Diamonds

That reminded me of the old blog that Irish Diamond used to run (I used to upload him pics during matches, and he'd do all the work from Norwich or wherever he happened to be at the time).
Home Leg - 2010/04/29
Away Leg - 2010/05/03
Some good memories there scrolling back to
March 2008 and of course
