I had a really enjoyable afternoon - Huntingdon Town 0 Harborough Town 1.
Harborough were real hoooof merchants, but big, strong and well drilled at the back. Huntingdon had 4 goals disallowed for off-side and hit the crossbar, it just wasn't their day, they were by far the better side. The officials were awful I hasten to add, a referee who was clueless and a linesman with what looked like one lung  Huntingdon should have been down to 10 men in the first half, a two footed tackle of the worst kind and the guy wasn't even booked
Huntingdon played well, the incredibly bumpy pitch not helping them, but they just lacked that "something". Harborough set out their stall and soaked up the pressure and just hoofed the ball upfield at every opportunity - the strategy worked (not a bad one to have given the uneven pitch). I wasn't that impressed with them, but they're top of the table so doing something right eh?
Friendly folk too, I was chatting to one of their sponsors and he was full of praise for the way the club are involving the local community and local businesses.
As bedforddiamond said, its a bit exposed there and it was feckin freezing, plus the pitchside facilities need a bit of work, but the clubhouse and changing rooms are first class (shows what can be done with Football Foundation money I guess).
About 120 or so there to see it, oh, and their programme wasn't a patch on ours
Ohhhhhh for a bit of land to build our own stadium eh?
