Re: Dale Roberts Memorial Cup/Day
What a terrific day !! Mrs Pigman and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was a great team effort by all involved and a good pile of cash raised for a very worthy cause - well worth getting my baldy head burnt for
I was impressed with our lads, especially in the first half, I'm really looking forward to seeing us get into the league fixtures, they're improving well with each game.
I really saw how our club is coming together today, people I've not seen for a while were there today, some I know who haven't been to a match yet - hopefully a good number will turn out Wednesday evening as well.
I know how much Dale's parents appreciated today, I had a good natter with them and they really are lovely people, they were both truly touched by today's events.
Really well done to everyone who made today possible, you did our club proud !!

Was the new shirt unveiled today?
If so, has anyone got any pics of it as I couldnt get there today.

R&DT is indeed Rushden & Diamonds Travel. The travel club very generously offered to sponsor us for the forthcoming season, hence their initials on the back of the shirt.Diamond Warrior wrote:I overheard 'travel' as well. Re: Dale Roberts Memorial Cup/Day
Regarding shirt sponsorship, will there be a main sponsor on the front of the shirt?
