It is amazing how two faced the Kettrin supporters are, not long ago it was a plastic ground or Legoland now its one of the best stadiums in the country all thats changed is a few signs.

Oh well give it a season and i imagine the signs will be changed again, Kettrin will be in administration and the ground whored out again leased by the Landlord to Peterborough or Northampton for training purposes.

I'm pretty sure it won't be the intention to remove all the signs of "The Diamonds" from around the ground as when it all goes pear shaped plan B will be put in motion and a name change to "K*ttering Diamonds" will take place, then when plan C goes tits up I'm sure god and KC only know!

Yes they are doing it on the cheap, on ploppynet they have been asking for volunteers to take the signage down which to me is another kick in the teeth for ex R&DFC fans!

Actually there are Regs regarding using ladders and a written safety study must be undertaken before any job undertaken.

I suggest the picture is sent to the HSE so they can ensure people are not being put in danger and that the volunteers have had the training to undertake the work they are doing.

And the doors and the bins and I can guarantee pretty much wherever you are in the stadium you won't be far away from something R&D related whether its a sign or a diamond or whatever. I know people keep saying move onto AFC but it is very difficult with all this happening with NP and the fact we've got to wait a year til we get the mens team going, I'd honestly rather they bulldozed it or something cause the thought of anyone other than R&D playing in NP is a horrible and surreal thought in my mind.

Now if it came to an official Name change as far as i'm aware they would not be able to use the name K*ttering as they would then have to change it to belong to the Conurbation the team plays, so the team would be called Irthlingborough Diamonds or Town.
