Didn't you hear? Andy Murray recently spat at the Queen, was seen burning the English flag and was the referee in the Germany game. He hates your country more than anything in the world. It's his sole aim in life to bring havoc and destruction to your nation.

I know all that mate. What I don't get is why Nadal winning is a victory/hero for ENGLAND. Murray is a SCOTTISH CITIZEN. Nadal beating him does not give me as an Englishman any sense of heroics or victory at all.

I don't really care that Murray is a Scott or whatever he said that was blown out of proportion in the past..

I just don't like him, he's terrible in the interview and never comes across as nowt but a grumpy, moody spoilt brat who's mother took him away to get what she wanted out of him when he was young.

I also remember his attitude at the Olympics and the way he treated his brother in the doubles (remembering that his bro is a grand slam winning doubles player) and the fact that he brushes off the Davis Cup team whenever he wants.

The fact is also that Rafa is a gentleman, a stunning player at a level Murray can only wish to attain and such a nice man off and on court. He is my favourite player so will always get my support over Murray, you can also look at Federer who is best mates with Tim Henman and is also a lovely bloke off court.

Andy has a lot to aspire to before he is at the point were he deserves the support that someone like Tim got (a man who remember spent most of his career also in the world top 10 no matter what you may say about him).

I was happy to see him lose not for the reason that he's Scottish, because I couldn't give a flying f*** what nationality he is. I was happy because if Murray had won he would've likely beaten Berdych in the final and the national media wankfest would've been unbearable. Apart from that there's also the reason that he's a boring bastard as others have said, although that really isn't his fault, if you don't like being interviewed then you're never going to come across in a good sense.

On the looks issue, it's a shame that Djokovic didn't win his semi because he is good looking.

The part that does not get reported about his comment about supporting anyone but England, is that it was in a press conference when Tim Henman was taking the mick out of the Scottish football team for not qualifying! Talk about not telling the whole truth by the papers!!! :lol:

He may well be British but I'm English. I hate him for my own reasons the same way I detest Ronaldo (Portugese one). I don't see why I should be made to support someone from a different country to me just because we are joined to them. If Scotland/Wales/ played England should I support whatever team wins? I only ever support the English player in any sport. Hendry/White, Taylor/Part Button/Coulthard. That doesn't make me a racist in the slightest.
