With yet another midfielder does mean its curtains on the return of Byrne?

Oh dear. I hope it's not the same bloke who was connected with Cambridge City and screwed the club over the sale of their ground at Milton Road.

Interesting connection eh, Robin. ;)

If Brian York is not Max's dad then we, of course, have nothing to worry about.

I don't suppose for one moment that the guy has offered to pay to have his son professionally trained at a fully professional club. That just wouldn't do would it?
Passing interest I suppose :D

Let's hope you are right but some of our fans had already pencilled him in as a mid -field starter.

Looks like the release of Tom Shaw and Jake Beecroft was short sighted if this is the quality of player we are signing. :(

Beeky asked to go to pursue a career nearer his home in Kent, and I never rated Shaw - he runs like a girl !
He'll barely make the bench unless he's got something special ( รก la Tommo), but I doubt it.

I just don't think that kind of thing happens though, otherwise woudn't every club be doing it? even advertising it? Its a waste of JE's time and is unprofessional.

Anyone who reads that link re: Cambridge City must be wary.

I wouldn't have thought JE would have signed anyone unless they had something possibly to offer, even in terms of potential. Let's leave the conspiracy theories alone unless something actually surfaces.
