What does it matter if he comes back or not? If you don't like what he writes don't read it, simples.

There's an ignore feature for a reason

I'd invite him back. He can't possibly shout about anything. Can he? ;)

Not if he ends up taking over the board like last time and wrecking any meaningful discussions.

Ooh didn't realise there was one of those. In light of that then I'll say let him on then. :)

There's been one on every board we've used. Just no one seems to use it no matter how many times it's pointed out.

I don't care if there's an ignore button, he's not coming back in the near future.

The last time I allowed him back on was a mistake. I was on holiday and came back to find he had near taken over the forum, and there were about 10 PMs begging for him to be banned, as well as a couple of threads. An ignore button is fine, but when people are provoked into responding to his crap (which occured in nearly every thread that I found when I got to a PC again) then it's impossible not to be effected.

He's had too many last chances and, after a period of calm at the start of all his ventures on here, he can never resist returning to his old ways. By the look of what he is writing on Outlaws I think he's back in one of his provocative moods, and I can't be bothered to deal with him when he's like that.

I just think its a shame people on here can't cope with a bit of leg pulling - its all in good humour, he's just a piss taker - learn to take the piss back with humour thats all people !!! This Forum is dead at the moment, what better time to have him back to stimulate a bit of life back, I'd certainly look in more and post more if there was something worthwhile to chat about.

I think it says more about the people rising to his bait than it does about Ted to be honest. I've traded a few emails with him and he's definately mellowed in his old age, certainly in his view about Diamonds.

Like I've said before, he comes on here takes the piss, some of our fans try it back, he retorts with a great put down and they can't cope with it and get all nasty  ...............this topic will always divide the board, but I'd have his wit and humour back on here in a heartbeat personally - the debate it provokes is far better than the tedium of close season boredom!!

Ban him if he steps out of line too much once the season starts, but lets have a little bit of fun at his expense while there's no footy to talk about is what I say.

I agree with tsome of that but not all. People do overreact to him which is exactly what he is after but even as someone who didn't tend to rise to the bait I found his presence annoying.

In the period that ID has mentioned his posting became so prolific and deliberately inflammatory that for me personally it was wrecking the forum. Every topic which may have contained genuine Diamonds news or debate was 2/3rds full of Ted's attempts at a wind-up and someone else reacting. After a while I actually stopped coming onto the forum as regularly because it felt like the record would never get changed.

So I agree with ID's decision to ban Ted and don't think that he should change his position.
