Good point! I'm sure their official site said they were at home when I looked at it earlier. I swear they changed it just to make me look stupid!

They've had no snow up there, just cold.

Expecting sun on saturday, but still cold none the less. I predict we get to Carlisle as it's called off :(

If the game goes ahead i would suggest that this would be a very good idea. Will be interesting to see if they can get some fitness up, and how they may/may not fit back into the side.

However, i am afraid the only winner i can see is the weather. I just hope those people who are going dont get too far before its called off. An early postponement would be most sensible imho.

I don't know, it's scary! Hopefully just post Christmas depression messing with my head. At least that's my two mistakes for this year out of the way early on!

The weather ahead in Workington looks promising, it's just a case of whether the pitch remains playable

Your getting my hopes up again that it may just be able to survive the weather, Yesterday i was certain it would be off but i'm desperate to go, no away game since the 5th of December is depressing.

That forecast looks much better than the last one I saw! Most of the ground is uncovered and the stands are fairly small so as long as there's plenty of sun the pitch should hopefully thaw out alright. Fingers crossed!

Surely if the temperature doesn't go above freezing like that suggests (high of 0) then it means the ground can't thaw properly? As such I would guess it is near certain to be off should the forecast be at all accurate.

Hi all,
the game will be off saturday we've had temperatures of -8 and the chairman described the pitch as like a road to top that it snowed today. A referee is expected tomorrow and will 99% call it off to save you travelling. hope too see you mid week!!
