ditto jamie young.
woodman was a class keeper. such a shame we replaced him with a clown who kept dropping the ball.
barnet away was the turning point of our season.
While Woodman was a quality keeper, I heard from various sources that he didn't hold the club in very high regard, one such instance was him laughing at our misfortune at the time.

remember that Woodman got seriously injured at Barnet. I don't think he ever played again at any level He has the odd distinction of never having let a goal in when playing for Diamonds. Anyone know of his whereabouts now?

I think Andy Woodman is a goalkeeper coach at Charlton Athletic

He is indeed now at Charlton, having followed Alan Pardew there from West Ham.

He did manage to concede no goals during his 3 and bit appearances for us, which puts him ahead of Michael Bertocchi and Steve Corry who were also never beaten in a first team Rushden game, although both only actually played one. And Bertocchi's was a 10 minute substitute appearance at the end of a 4-1 win over Sutton in the FA Cup.

Which error was this?
I seem to remember seeing a Diamonds keeper mistake on the "Taxi!" bit on SoccerAM a few years ago... the keeper in question left the ball as he thought it was going over the bar but it actually landed by his feet and bounced in. Was this Worgan?

That was the one. What made it worse was that it was a 90th minute equaliser, just a couple of minutes after we'd conceded a first goal having been 2-0 up.

As good as he was you can't really have a nominee for our greatest ever goalkeeper who only played in 7 games. He now runs a goalkeeper coaching academy back in the USA.

Ashdown is still the finest keeper i've seen at Rushden, with Turley (despite what he did) a close second.
