Thought it was an OK performance today although there is still something missing. Must be quite difficult when paramedics are treating one of your players in the dugout. I think we missed Lorraine today. Good to see Bunting out on the pitch before the game, the sooner he's back in the team the better.
I thought the referee was OK, although he didn't have any really big calls to make.

Funny how we all see things differently cos I thought the ref today was one of the best we've had!!! Previous referees have only had to make big decisions because they've not taken control of the game whereas today it was clear from the 1st whistle that he was in control without being a Billy big b******s that we've seen too often (Potters Bar away springs to mind    )

A nice bonus that results today went well for us. 3 points on Tuesday should probably do it I reckon.
That pretty much sums it up - although I think we'll need 6 more points to reach the playoffs. The ref was one of the better ones too.

I don't think their keeper had to make a save in the second half, just cut out a few crosses. Lewis Leslie had one of his best games for the club (apart from the indiscipline that cost him a booking, and Connor Kennedy was a worthy MoM. Stevenson's workrate was much improved, although the partnership between him and Parsons always looked lightweight.

Let's hope we can find a pair of effective strikers for Tuesday's given we might be without both Sandy and Lorraine.

I thought 1st half was better than the 2nd half, a few nerves towards the end. Thought ref was ok, nice to see Dolman score, a scrappy 3 points might bring more confidence to the lads, to win more games.

Nice to see Aylesbury lose.

Any clue on how far away nabil sheriff is? Be a big ask for him to be effective this late in the season, but his experience could be valuable to play alongside Stevenson or parsons

Yes he was one of the better referee's we've had, but wasn't helped by his inept linesmen.

Wasn't that when Leslie got pushed in the face, but the Hanwell player who started it didn't even get a booking?

Conor Kennedy summed it up when he asked the lino "aren't you going to help him out?"

It was not a great performance, but, it was better for 60 minutes than we have had for a long time. The players seem afraid of making a mistake and being the scapegoat for any underperformance. The bold, adventurous, attacking play has been replaced with caution, not good at this stage of the season. 3 points are welcome and it is a big decision to make, whether we go for promotion, or settle for another season in either this league or another at this level. It does also make you wonder how many other teams in the top 5, are considering the impact it will have on their club, if they get promoted.
Is any club wanting to go up a level?

I'd expect the management and players all to be playing for promotion. As a new team in this division it took the other clubs 30 odd games to suss us out, if we stay here I suspect it'll be quicker than that unless we can assemble a great team. I'd rather accept promotion and build for that, but we'll end up where we deserve to be. The play offs would be exciting either way.
