We had quite a scare in the game against Thurnby at the D&D, with our defence looking really porous in the first half. That was when we played without a recognised full-back, and it showed - although their defence rather fell apart in the second half. At least we won't have that problem this weekend, but we missed Adam Confue in that game, and we'll miss him again this weekend due to his booking in the UCL Cup game helping to take him over 5 yellows before the deadline on 31st December.
Let's hope the players and management aren't as over confident as some of the posters on here in the "fixtures" thread, who are suggesting we might get 30 points clear of our rivals by the end of February!

A win tomorrow will increase our lead at the top by at least one point, as Yaxley have no game.
Holbeach are away to Cogenhoe.
And Huntingdon are at Wisbech, so either or both will drop points.

On 26th and 27th Dec. there are more points to be dropped as Holbeach play Wisbech, PNS play Yaxley and Huntingdon have easier game, but local derby v Eynsbury.

All we have to do is get maximum points!!!
