Truly sad news. I used to pop in ticket office regular to have banter with Alison whilst I was at diamonds. She had a great sense of humour.
My thoughts are with her family and friends.

I think her husband's name was Gary?
Perhaps Dave Albon, as Club Secretary, could contact the family and offer all our condolences?
She was a great servant of the old club, and a good laugh as well. She handled difficult situations with humour and firmness in equal measure. A great loss.

I have already been in contact with the family, both as the club's welfare officer and as a personal friend.

Alison was a very special, much-loved lady who will be deeply missed.
