FA CUP & FA VASE DRAWS TOMORROW.

Should give us something to look forward to. Not sure at what stage we will enter.
Last season we came in at 2nd qualifying round in the Vase, so hopefully as we did reasonably well we get at least that again.

FA Cup altogether a new adventure for us. We may even have to play in extra preliminary round as we are new boys. Poppies join it at 1st qualifying round I should imagine as they have now dropped so very low.

I think it is pure luck whether we get a bye in the 1st Qualifying Round of the Vase. I think you need to get to the quarter final stage the previous season to get early round exemption as Oadby Town did a couple of seasons back.

Not sure but I think K*ttering enter in the preliminary round (Kings Lynn played at Welly Town at that stage last year), so we could actually be drawn against them tomorrow, if we won our extra prelim. game.

Yep, step 5 and below enter at the extra preliminary, step 4 at the preliminary, step 5 at the 1 qualifying round and so on. Can't believe the draw has come so soon, absolutely cannot wait for us to begin our first FA Cup adventure, just hoping we draw a non UCL team though!

Vase odds 8/1 Whitworth in Extra prelim, winner to play Welly or Irchester.
Think we needed to have won at Ashington to have missed a couple of rounds, still the earlier we start the more games, all makes for a happy treasurer and he did make us all smile last night.
