Some updated pics from the Groundwork this evening. Thanks again to all the volunteers that came down. Another good turnout.
We will continue early in the morning to get ready for concrete next week, weather allowing.
More Barrier prep and painting was completed, and Wellingborough were working on tiling in the away changing rooms. Thanks for the Tea/Hot Chocolate, and also to Rudolph for the Cokes.
Starting on the digging out base for concrete behind goal, and to side.
Relocating the spoil to fill pot holes in the drive (will need a roll later)
Tarmac spoil relocated to the rest of the driveway (will need rolling)
More digging
Driveway into the ground
Main digging almost completed - just a side part to finish in the morning
It's getting dark ;-)
Mark finally thinks it's time to finish.

Re: [ Friday 6th July ] Dog and Duck Update Pics
We start bright and early at 8am tomorrow (Sat), many of the volunteers there tonight can't make it tomorrow, so we could do with a few extra pairs of hands to help spread the spoil on the carpark, if you can spare a bit of time tomorrow that would be really good, we may be a bit lighthanded otherwise. I can only stay until 12 noon tomorrow, so please, if you can help, come on down.
There is still a little bit of painting to be done, and some general tidying of the ground (sweeping the paths etc in readiness for next Saturdays game), so even if you can't wield a spade/shovel, we can find something for you to do.
Like Darren said, thanks to everyone who turned up tonight, Darren, Mark, Duncan, Andy, Jaimie, Kevin and his wife (sorry I didn't catch your name), Robin, Lee, Lee's lad (sorry can't remember your name  ), Joan and Tony - I don't think I've missed anyone, if I have its because I'm shattered
You all put in one hell of a shift for the club tonight - thank you !!!
