It's entirely your own fault you haven't got a lower number, Alan. The first batch of membership forms were all processed at the same time and numbers were allocated in alphabetical order (with the exception of number 1). Had you thought ahead and changed your surname by deed poll to Abbot, or perhaps Aardvark, then you would have got membership number 2! ;)

227 for me, which when you add 2+2+7 makes 11, the number of players on the pitch for one team*. Must mean something.



*Unless you are K*ttering who can't keep 11 on and won't have 11 soon, or Man Utd who usually have 12, the extra one having a whistle

I posted this before and noticed a few people have started to do it. Think it's a great idea if all the members that post on the forum edit their profile signature to include their member number.

If you don't know how to do this simply login to the forum and select the "User Control Panel" link from the top left. Then click on thr blue "Profile tab" and lastly click on the "Edit Signature" option.
