There was no player safety issue on Saturday that dictated the game needed to be called off, but football at this level is a spectator sport and in my opinion it would have been better to have postponed that game and played it another day.
I imagine the wind would have ruined the game at any venue but the athletics stadium made it 10x worse, with the wind ripping through, balls flying off the pitch taking ages to retrieve. I'd be surprised if the ball was in play more than 20 minutes total.

Despite being against the bottom team, with the weather and injury issues, can't say I'm too disappointed with a 0-0 in that one.

Wysocki was a real handful in the first half. Quick and excellent ball control. Against the wind in the second half he had very little opportunity. Sweeney solid nonsense at Right back. Vocal, encouraging others. Deserved MoM
