So, we've narrowly lost against 2 top teams in our division and now had the usual bad day in the cup. It's not a disaster, no one died, disappointed yes, same as the manager, but it's recoverable.
Get in the ground on Tuesday and get behind your club.

The same manager who 3 games in to a new season, following two games against teams under massive pressure to win the league, is faced with people berating him and refusing to shake his hand.

That’s very disappointing, we are gutted but come on let’s be fully behind the manager.

Same old same old. Same clowns who hammered peaksy on a regular bases. I hate losing massively! HOWEVER - The money getting chucked around locally is absolutely ridiculous, AND YES BY TEAMS THAT GET 30 - 80 - 120 - 230 PEOPLE WATCHING THEM. So it's nothing to do with there support through the gate it down to someone splashing the cash. So it makes it near on impossible to attract certain players when teams like Daventry can pay a player £450 a week, one on our league £1000 a week. As fans since club was formed with had plenty to be happy about in such a short space of time. Last year was tough for everyone as we know, that tough we nearly didn't have a team to watch again!!! Yes know one is more frustrated than me but I at the same time I try to be realistic & again expecting another tough season. Today was really difficult watch, thats an opinion pitch side not radio or twitter comments 🙄 that's teams performance, seeing genuine fans frustrated , board members that are absolutely busting a gut to try and improve things for us all and a manager who's clearly hurting big time all whilst thinking of the club long term future ,another one working his nuts off and trying to pull players in when it's near on impossible on whats getting offerrd. There has been loads of good things happen to allow the club to operate which has come from certain fans giving up loads of time and giving their best. On the player front and now 3 games in, we've lost against 2 top sides who finished 3rd & 4th I think last season, today we go into the game as favourites being the level above but unfortunately we were poor as a group! We've had absolutely no luck whatsoever (yes some will say easy excuse) but losing arguably 2 starters in Hughesy & jonesy has been a killer, as both lads here for the right reasons & both lads give there absolute everything. But for me everyone who pays there money of coarse is entitled to opinion, but some you read is embarrassing, we all know the crack as the board has been honest & open. But right now we need to stick together and all play our part, we have a top bloke as manager who knows how it works but unfortunately things locally are tougher than ever.

You think we had a bad day, trying being a supporter of Corby or Nuneaton!! Chris Nunn and the Board will se us through this season which was always going to be difficult. Maybe he can get a couple of loan players but League clubs are not so keen to send youngsters out to Step 4.

So what can we do to help, can we have a lottery push to boost the budget, get more people to the ground, buy more stuff in dales bar and the club shop, can we suggest players, are their loans from league teams, from step 2 teams, step 3 teams (I saw Drury offer something out on Twitter) is there a northern league ex manager or coach we can tap into re players they may know (like harborough have done with Staffy) , is there a scout we can do the same with, or one who can go and look at players for us. Can we all assign ourselves to a team and go and scout them and feedback to Chris?
Is there anyone who came to the legends game who can help, an ex player at a pro club letting us have a promising player on loan, can we pay Simeon Jackson to drive 140 miles on matchday to help the club, can we raise some money to cover that, would we take Ben Farrell, alfie Taylor or anyone else still playing who came along.
Can we all trawl the top goal scorers at step 5 and scout them for Chris?
It’s crucial we don’t fall into the ever decreasing circle of not able to afford Nat Ansu, Dylan Wilson, Tendai Daire, Albie Hall, then sitting in the bottom and even ones we can afford not wanting to come as we are where we are in the league.

Can we trawl the top goal scorers in step 5 and scout them for Chris. Can we get some more sponsorship for a player or the club to help the budget, what about the fans pay an extra £1 on their ticket from now onwards and it go towards the budget £500 a game would help wouldn’t it, do a pay way you want boost the budget game, are there any items we can auction off left from the legends game, can we get the team to sign some shirts this season and they be auctioned off, can we sell a a sponsored standing spot at hayden road, like we did with the seats in the stand, can we get a mural put up on the out of use stand and sell space to put images of fans current or departed like they did at grounds during covid.

We can do anything, we flipping lost our club, and re built it from nothing, we can do anything. It’s time to be positive, try different things, help all we can, try players etc it won’t all come off but at least we can try.

Matthew Harris-Hercules top scorer in the UCL Prem South right now. Playing for Yaxley who had an even worse season last year than us. Worth a shout!? Unless they now have a money man and he’s on £000s a week…

Be careful guys asking genuine questions about players budgets finances, you’ll be labelled a “keyboard warrior” and sarcastic emojis.

.I know few of these are going on in the back ground and being worked on and some great ideas. Like you say we know things are tight/difficult but do have a club and people are working relentlessly! The catchment locally for players is being driven by ridiculous money as we know. We've had a real tough start, had zero luck & horrendous luck with injuries. All these negative opinions won't help anyone especially when most not either there to have one. Lets pull together and help OUR club 💎 imo you won't get a better manager than the one we've got.

A small thing, could you put a link onto the match day program that would allow you to make a donation like some online papers do? I would be happy to pay to read the program each time.

I totally respect Chris, but it’s blatantly clear that we need some more experienced heads in the team. Chris said he doesn’t want journey men, but why don’t we take a punt on one or two? You never know they might end up sticking around.

I didn’t have much confidence of getting a result yesterday if I’m honest, because of Hughesy and Will being out injured. Let’s hope we can get a win on Tuesday night and kick start our season.
